Reordering completed at St Mary’s Church, Dunsforth

During Autumn of last year the works at St Mary’s Church, Lower Dunsforth, a part of Boroughbridge Churches, were progressing well.

Our ecclesiastical team is now delighted to report that the interior of the church has been handed over for the use of the church.

Internal reordering works included a new kitchenette at the West End, an accessible WC, an access ramp, and enhanced heating, lighting, and drainage systems, all helping to improve accessibility and overall usability of the church.

External works, still in progress, involve roof repairs and repointing of the church walls and the spire to ensure the long-term preservation of this historic building.

We were proud to collaborate with retired local Architect Michael Wildblood, supporting his ideas from concept to completion and to work alongside AJ Hawkridge and Sons as the main contractor.
