We are delighted that our Ecclesiastical Architecture team have completed the repair works at the historic All Saints Church in Cawthorne.
The roofs to the Lady Chapel, North Aisle and North Nave Slopes were re-roofed as the existing wooden pegs had rotted through, leaving the roof in a dangerous condition. Where possible the existing stone slates were reused with aluminium pegs. New cast iron gutters from Longbottom Foundry in Holmfirth completed the Nave and the roof is ready for another 100 years!
Martin Brooks Roofing did an excellent job on the project, with compliments coming in from the congregation, community and surrounding residents.
