We’re pleased to share an update from St Margaret’s Church, Horsforth, where the conservation works continue.

Over the past year, significant progress has been made. The existing floor has now been removed and a new beam-and-block floor structure supported on steelwork has been installed throughout the chancel, organ chamber and vestry.

Insulation is now in place, ready for the installation of underfloor heating — helping to make this much-loved historic church warmer, more comfortable and more energy efficient.

As ecclesiastical architects, our team is delighted to be involved in this important conservation project, working alongside Pinnacle Conservation to carefully balance essential building works with the preservation of St Margaret’s historic fabric.

It’s encouraging to see the works moving forward and the long-term benefits for St Margaret’s beginning to take shape.

We look forward to sharing more updates as the project continues!
