Alexa Stephens, Architect in charge of Ecclesiastical and Conservation projects

Award-winning Alexa heads up PBA’s ecclesiastical and conservation team.


She has an impressive set of credentials in the specialist areas of Historic buildings, Ecclesiastical architecture, Conserving Church buildings and working with parishes to create spaces for worship.


She is a Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), an architect Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC), a committee member of the Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association and an advising architect to the York DAC. In addition:


·         Member of the National Church Building Council

·         Inspecting architect for 5 dioceses

·         Works with a number of denominations

·         Member of the committee of the Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association


Alexa’s unique skill set and achievements are a key factor in growing the Practice’s reputation and standing in these specialist areas of Architecture.
