Regeneration of a Grade II Listed High Street Terrace

We are pleased to share with you one of our recently completed refurbishment projects located in the Yorkshire city of Wakefield.

The Grade II Listed property, situated on the historic streets of Little Westgate and Bread Street, comprises of two shop units and four self contained flats; providing much needed living spaces and commercial units for the centre of Wakefield.

Bread Street has a long history. Originally called Bread Booths in 1306, it was home to the only bakehouse in Wakefield and everyone who sold bread had to bake it in the oven at the Bread Street bakehouse. The view down Bread Street looking east is dominated by the magnificent Wakefield Catherdral which boasts the tallest church spire in Yorkshire measuring 247ft.
