Celebrating our 60th anniversary

There has been a great sense of excitement here at Pearce Bottomley Architects as 2018 sees us celebrating our 60th anniversary. That's six whole decades of combining our own rich heritage with cutting-edge thinking to create sensitive and sustainable development in the region and beyond.

Last week saw us throw a fantastic party where many of our friends, colleagues and clients came along to help us mark the occasion, as we're sure you agree that this marvellous milestone is quite an achievement.

We have seen and experienced a great deal of change over the years but, by remaining true to our roots while keeping our sights fixed firmly on the future, we have successfully stood the test of time as our exceptional team continues to carve out an enviable reputation as a leading force in the field of architecture.

Many of our residential and commercial projects, such as St George's Crypt, Leeds, St Peter's Church, Harrogate, and the Washburn Heritage Centre, Fewston, have won national acclaim and recognition.

Our party took place at Saxton Cricket Club – a past project itself – and, as one of our architects is a keen cricketer and member, we still enjoy strong ties with the place. Corks popped, music played and afternoon tea was served as guests gathered for this wonderful occasion. As the evening approached, barbecues were lit as celebrations continued for a few more hours of revelry and good cheer.
