Introducing New Team members George Bennett & Rachel Docherty

We would like to introduce two new members of the PBA team, George Bennett and Rachel Docherty.

George joins us as a Part I student from Newcastle University -

I graduated from Newcastle University’s School of Architecture with first class honours in 2022. Throughout my education I had the opportunity to design a wide range of schemes, both residential and non-residential- with my third-year design project focusing on the regeneration of local seaside town, Redcar. I am really excited to further my studies with practical experience here at Pearce Bottomley Architects before returning to university to complete my education.

Outside of work I enjoy mountain biking, snowboarding and exploring the great outdoors.

Rachel joins us as a Part II Architectural Assistant -

I studied at De Montfort University to gain my Part 1 and 2 and have worked in the industry for over 15 years, gaining experience in various sectors. My favourite project to date is a bespoke house design completed in 2021, set into a hill side with views of the Peak District. I really enjoy working with residential clients on new and existing homes.

Away from the office I enjoy open water swimming, and recently swam the length of Coniston Water in the Lake District. I love food and enjoy baking, and have made wedding and birthday cakes for friends and family.  I also have an interest in travelling and hope to do some more with my husband and family soon.
