PBA Shortlisted for 2016 RICS Award

Pearce Bottomley Architects have been shortlisted for this years prestigious RICS Awards.

St Peter's, Harrogate has been shortlisted in the Conservation and Community Benefit Categories in the RICS Awards 2016 - Yorkshire & Humber.

The project presented a unique challenge with a limited site area and significant utilities blocking access. We skilfully wrapped a new single storey entrance lobby around the church to access a three storey multi purpose facility. High surrounding buildings limited the availability of daylight, which was overcome by the ingenious use of bespoke skylights to flood the building with natural light.

The RICS Awards promote the most inspirational developments of land, property, construction and the built environment.

Winners will be announced on Friday 13 May 2016 at the regional awards ceremony.
