For more than 30 years the Practice has been developing its expertise in Health Service work. We have witnessed many changes in the NHS and adapted to them gaining a wealth of expertise from which we, and more importantly our clients, now benefit.
With such a long association we have inevitably been involved with a broad range of building types from general wards with sanitary and other ancillary accommodation to specialised facilities, not only as new-build but also in existing buildings as conversion, alterations and refurbishment.
We have covered virtually every kind of medical & hospital department including non-medical support services, and various projects for acute and elderly mental health patients. We have been involved in care-in-the community projects including conversion and new-build works to provide shared units with central support facilities, through a number of specialised Housing Associations.
We have also developed expertise in the provision of accommodation for wheelchair access and the profoundly disabled in association with organisations such as Habinteg, in Chesterfield and Hull, and the Helios Award winning project for ASBAH.
